Lyon vs Real Sociedad 0-2 Match Report Highlights 20th August 2013

A stunning scissor-kick from the boyhood les Gones fan gave the visitors the lead before Haris Seferovic smashed home a second after the break.

Real Sociedad put one foot in the Champions League group stages with a superb 2-0 victory away to 10-man Lyon on Tuesday.

In the 17th minute, Vela ran down the left channel to track down the ball, cutting it back toward the top of the box prior to getting to the end line. Griezmann levitated for an acrobatic, left-footed, scissor-kick volley that tucked inside the lower far corner to open the scoring.

Haris Seferovic scored on a wonderstrike five minutes after the halftime restart to provide a crucial second away goal and give Sociedad a decisive advantage heading into the home leg.

For Vela, who also drew a second yellow card on Lyon's Serbian center back Milan Bisevac in the 75th minute, the performance is the second in a row in which he has figured in the scoring. Vela scored and assisted on a goal in Sociedad's La Liga-opening 2-0 victory over Getafe.
