Adam Levine Crowned People's 'Sexiest Man Alive

The Maroon 5 front man, who is also a judge on the US version of The Voice is expected to grace the magazines's cover when it hits news stands on November 20th.

The 34year old is currently engaged to Namibian Victoria's Secret model Behati Prinsloo who he first started dating in May 2012.

But the decision has caused some controversy with commenters suggesting the singer doesn't deserve the title after he said "I hate this country" while acting as a mentor on reality singing show The Voice.

"There's two kinds of men: There are men who are f***ing misogynist pigs, and then there are men who just really love women, who think they're the most amazing people in the world, and that's me," Levine told Details.

"Maybe the reason I was promiscuous, and wanted to sleep with a lot of them, is that I love them so much."
