Adele recieves MBE Award from Prince Charles

Singer Adele has been awarded an MBE (Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) by the Prince of Wales at Buckingham Palace.

Clearly delighted with the honour, Adele beamed from ear to ear as Prince Charles pinned the medal to her chest, before shaking hands with the royal.
In a statement issued after the ceremony, the singer said: 'It was an honour to be recognised and a very proud moment to be awarded alongside such wonderful and inspirational people. Very posh indeed.'

Charles was then seen chatting to Adele for several minutes, presumably congratulating her on her immense musical success.
